Aikido of Suenaka-Ha Ashland

OUR DOJO
Our dojo has about twenty students on roster and usually there is about 8-14
students in class. The student make-up is male and female, young and old with
various physical abilities. That is what makes learning Aikido at this dojo a
joyous experience.
As dojo cho I believe that there are two purposes of a dojo to serve as a training
hall and be in service to the community. We are a community service dojo that
participated in such events as a October winter sock and blanket drive for the
homeless. We collected over 700 pounds of canned goods for the Central Virginia
Food Bank in February. It is our objective to continue to be a community service
dojo.
